Watch as our Class Measures School Improvement Specialist delivers a recorded interactive Professional Development session designed to help you:

  • Become familiar with the Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP).
  • Identify key mindsets and approaches for MLL/ELL focused walkthroughs and observational feedback cycles.
  • Be able to communicate to your school/community the "why” (vision) and plan how to implement school coaching and feedback for impact.
  • Practice identifying MLL/ELL strategies and approaches. 

This 45-minute video is designed to leverage leadership skills to hone feedback to effectively monitor and strengthen English language programs and learning for school leaders and district leaders with an interest in organizing and engaging in targeted walkthroughs and coaching cycles to provide feedback on their MLL/ELL instruction.

About the presenter:

Amy Proulx is an English Language Development (ELD) Coach and Educational Consultant. She currently works with several school districts across the country to support educators and empower ALL (academic language learner) students. She has over a decade of experience working with English language learners at the high school and university levels in Boston, Italy, and the People’s Republic of China.
